Updates October 2020

Now that the exterior of the building is nearing completion, the contractor has started building the internal walls, running cables & laying pipework. This means there are many more people working on site (& more portacabins to accommodate them). The workforce has been split into ‘bubbles’, each with its own set of cabins. If someone tests positive for Covid-19, only a fraction of the workers will need to self-isolate & work on site will be able to continue. Sadly, the extra cabins mean that people can no longer see into the building easily from the street but it is a wise precaution on the part of the contractor to keep their workers safe & minimise the risk of delay.
